Rosemary is available for free help during the Thursday evening group for anyone needing help with a project.

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAYMENT is required for all classes. Please contact Rosemary to get signed up today. Refunds are only available if you cancel no later than 3 days prior to the start date of the class or if Rosemary has to cancel the class.

All classes are limited to SIX STUDENTS, so please sign up early!

BEGINNER KNITTING ENGLISH OR CONTINENTAL: Sunday, June 7 & 14, 2015, 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

Cost: $30.00 (This includes the yarn and pattern for two washcloths)

Instructor: Rosemary Libby

In this class you will be taught how to cast on using the long-tail method, how to knit and purl using your choice of English or Continental method. You will be instructed how to read and understand your pattern and begin knitting a cute beginner scarf.

Other supplies you will need to bring to class will be a 9″ size US 8 straight knitting needles and two stitch markers. These can be purchased at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.

BEGINNER SOCKS: Sunday, June 21 & 28, 2015, 3:00 – 5:00 PM

Cost: $30.00 (This price includes a pattern that contains directions for a size Baby, Child, Women’s and Men’s socks and enough yarn to knit a pair of baby socks)
Instructor: Rosemary Libby

Prerequisites for this class is that you already know how to cast on, knit and purl.

This class will teach you Sock basics – how to measure your foot, determine size, and the sock construction of the cuff, heel, turning heel, gusset and toe by knitting a baby sock from the cuff down on double point needles. Once you master this basic sock, you can knit socks in various sizes and yarns.

Other supplies you will need to bring to class are a set of 5″ size US 3 double point needles, stitch markers, scissors and a tapestry needle. You will be able to be purchased these at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.
