Welcome to the Class and Knitting Group Schedules

Classes can be scheduled individuals or private groups.

MORNINGS: WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY…..10 – 12 NOON

Rosemary is available for free help during the Thursday evening group for anyone needing help with a project.
All Open Knitting Groups are FREE!

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAYMENT is required for all classes. Please contact Rosemary to get signed up today. Refunds are only available if you cancel no later than 3 days prior to the start date of the class or if Rosemary has to cancel the class.

All classes are limited to SIX STUDENTS, so please sign up early!

CABLE MITTEN’S OR GLOVELET: Sunday, November 2 & 9, 2014, 3:00 – 5:00 PM

Cost: $30.00 (price includes yarn and pattern that I wrote.)
Instructor: Rosemary Libby

Prerequisite for this class is that you already know how to cast on, knit and purl.

You will choose between knitting the glovelet or mitten for this class.  You will learn how to knit the cuff, make the cables, add the thumb and shape the end of the glovelet or mitten while knitting an adult pair.

Other supplies needed for this class will be a set of 5 double point needles in size US 4 and size US 6, stitch markers, cable needle and a tapestry needle.   These can be purchased at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.

BASIC SOCKS ON DOUBLE POINT NEEDLES: Sunday, November 16 & 23, 2014, 3:00 – 5:00 PM

Cost: $30.00 (This price includes a pattern and yarn)
Instructor: Rosemary Libby

Prerequisites for this class is that you already know how to cast on, knit and purl.

This class will teach you Sock basics – how to measure your foot, determine size, and the sock construction of the cuff, heel, turning the heel, gusset and toe by knitting a baby sock from the cuff down on double point needles. Once you master this basic sock, you can knit socks in various sizes and yarns.

Other supplies needed for this class will be a set of 5 double point needles in size US 3 and a tapestry needle.   These can be purchased at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.

FAIR ISLE CHRISTMAS BULB: Sunday, December 7 & 14, 2014, 3 – 5 PM

Cost: $35.00 (Price includes the Fair Isle Bulb pattern that I wrote and enough yarn to knit a bulb)
Instructor: Rosemary Libby

Prerequisite for this class is that you already know how to cast on, knit and purl.

In this class you will learn the Fair Isle technique, where two or more colors are knit alternately across a row while unused colors are stranded across the back.

Other supplies you will need to bring to class are a set of size US 4 Double Point needles, a 3″ styrofoam ball and a tapestry needle.  These can be purchased at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.
