PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAYMENT is required for all classes. Please contact Rosemary to get signed up today. Refunds are only available if you cancel no later than 3 days prior to the start date of the class or if Rosemary has to cancel the class.

All classes are limited to SIX STUDENTS, so please sign up early!

LEARN TO KNIT: Sunday, January 17 & 24, 2016, 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

Cost: $30.00 (Price includes the pattern and enough yarn to knit two dishcloths.

Instructor: Rosemary Libby

In this class you will be taught how to cast on using the long tail method, how to complete the knit and purl stitch, how to increase and decrease and will be instructed how to read and understand your pattern while using your choice of the Continental or English knitting method.

Other supplies you will need to bring to class are size US 7 straight knitting needles, stitch markers, scissors and a tapestry needle.  These can be purchased at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.

LEARN TO KNIT MITTENS: Sunday, January  31 & February 7, 2016, 3:00 – 5:00 PM

Cost: $30.00 (price includes yarn and pattern called “Mitten’s for the Family”  that I wrote in five sizes)

Instructor: Rosemary Libby

Prerequisite for this class is that you already know how to cast on, knit and purl.

You will learn how to make mittens using double point needles.  You will learn how to knit the cuff, made the thumb and shape the end of the mitten while knitting a child size mitten.  The pattern you receive will have mittens for the entire family so you will be all set for making any size you want after the class.

Other supplies needed for this class are a set of 5 double point needles in size US 4, and stitch markers.  These can be purchased at Rosemary’s Gift & Yarn Shop if you do not have them already.
